Charging Power Upgrades

The Cadillac 2020 XT5 wireless charging improvements are compatible with phones that use the PMA and Qi standards. The charging power has been upgraded to 15 watts (3 amp), compared to only 5 watts (1 amp) found on older models. No matter how you use your phone, the enhanced charging capabilities of the 2020 XT5 has you covered.

Additionally, the charging dock on the updated Cadillac 2020 XT5 has been improved with advanced cooling features. This is especially important for people that often use battery-intensive apps, as well as those that frequently use their phones outdoors in the summertime. Cooling your phone down quickly allows it to reach ideal operating temperature sooner and also allows for faster charging.

The Cadillac XT5 wireless charging improvements are available on the Luxury and Sport trims. To take advantage of the new technology, your phone must be compatible with the PMA or Qi standards and support fast charging rates.
